The Betrayer(s)
There is a new emerald comet streaking through the skies right now dear diary. Along with that are aurora borealis in a major show of light all over the globe. Natural fireworks - I wonder what new birth/thing we are celebrating. I don't think this Sussex tornado elicited the same response though.

More evidence coming to light of the colonization of England was interesting. Most people forget that waves of invaders swept through the British Isles for centuries, seeking to claim the vast natural resources that were buried in that tiny corner of the world. It Wasn't until Edward IV made the decision to become a major international trader through development of a strong navy, that the tide turned in favour of that island's vulnerable and very battered population. In many ways that is the underlying theme - Pax Arthur - of the search for the chalice.

During the Sunday read of investigative news stories the issue of relationships and how much different communication styles can influence major life events was a strong theme. This story about the relationships that formed among several scientific geniuses during their creative years, was a great lesson in realizing that people can all be talking about the same thing yet still not understand anything the others have to offer. Obviously the text makes it apparent that those relationships were greatly valued by the participants and also generated creative breakthroughs as a result, regardless of the dissonance. Good life lesson is to take away what the relationship offer to one's life path and bless the rest.

The debate about relationships between religious groups was also a feature. The more they say they are different the more they are actually the same. Spiritual pride is supposed oto be the greatest sin of all, isn't it?

The next two articles seem to be two halves to one whole concept. Justice. Without free access to the courts and protection from secret trials where one cannot even defend against evidence one is not allowed to see being presented against one, and where public scrutiny is not allowed, how are western countries any different than the terrorist harbouring nations they say they are fighting? Under the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights - which all North American countries are signatory - kangaroo courts are not legal, ethical or acceptable in any form. Unless our governments have neglected to inform us, they have not declared war on their own citizens. Or have they? Troubling reading that lead to a day of prayer and sadness. Betrayal by those who are supposed to be one's greatest protectors or friends, is the worst form of abuse. Isn't it dear diary. So the criminal courts deem in any other form of abuse - violations of positions of trust/power always receive more severe sentences.

Time for bed now, another full day tomorrow.
